Cosmetic Allergies

Allergic reactions happen with cosmetics. Due to an ingredient in the cosmetics, you can have a variety of different allergic reactions. Even with the many different tests the cosmetics had to go through to be ready for the public to use, there will still be a lot of women who will still suffer from allergic reactions to the cosmetics.

Allergic reactions take some people off guard. This is especially true for women who have never had one before. Women with sensitive skin are wary of cosmetics, but if you have never had a problem before it can really come as a surprise.

To prevent serious reactions it is a good idea to watch out for any differences in how your skin looks or feels. Pay attention to any of these differences. These can include a lot of different reactions, usually starting with itchy, flaky, dry skin.

Stop using the cosmetic as soon as you notice any difference in skin. If you don’t, the allergic reactions will grow to more severe ones. These can be anything from rashes, to hives, or peeling, painful skin.

Consult your doctor if your reaction is bad. Normally they will prescribe an ointment that you can apply to heal the skin. They might also give you an allergy shot or a skin peel, depending on the severity of the allergic reaction.

Another way to protect your skin is to use natural wholesale cosmetics. Natural wholesale cosmetics are free from harsh chemicals. Because natural wholesale cosmetics are made with only organic, natural ingredients, they are much nicer for your skin.

Essential oils are also good for helping to sooth skin. Tea tree oil in particular has great anti-inflammatory properties to help sooth and treat skin issues. They are also used a lot in skin cosmetics to firm skin and tighten pores.

Another good rule to remember is to always test the cosmetic out first. Don’t immediately apply it all over your face or skin. Test it out on a small patch of skin to see how your skin reacts first.
